The Eagle River Soccer Association is excited about offering various Soccer Programs to benefit the soccer familes in the Eagle River Community.

Having the ability to choose a certified and credentialed educator who can teach your child the right elements of the game is essential to the future success and opportunities for your sibling.

Volunteer's or part time coaches with limited sport exposure make helpful support staff, but when it comes to learning the proper skills and understanding of the game it is essential to have a proven instructor with the right expertise, licensing and accreditation.

Similairly, it is helpful to have a substitute teacher fill in occasionally at your siblings school, but there is no substitute for a full time, subject specific, credentialed school association teacher. Learning from the right educator makes all the difference for one's success.

Nationally, the present game of soccer, is administered by coaches with US Soccer Federation Licensing and years of Game Management expertise. Twenty years ago, soccer club's averaged 1,500 players. Today Soccer Clubs have merged and the average club size is 6,500 to 14,000 players. Clubs that size provide vast amounts of coaching and player developmental expertise.

The Eagle River Soccer Association Program is the only Soccer Program in Alaska that offers the same education and player development needed to compete in the lower 48.
